New logo... the last one was great and all, but it just wasn't garnering the mood I wanted... so I set to designing something else. I wanted a more feminine touch to the logo while still keeping the monogram style. I also wanted something a bit more classy and traditional. The logo still needs work and tweaking, but it's good enough for now :) Thoughts?
Haha @Nayla Smith! Yeah, I'm sad to see the other one go, but ever since I started using it people started thinking I was a guy and I was told by multiple people it felt masculine, which I didn't see but eh, perception is the name of the game :( this was actually an idea I'd come up with before the owl one but didn't have faith in my Illustrator skills at the time so I tossed it aside. I've been working on it for I've a week now, and I've got a whole brand style I like built around it, so now I feel confident in my choice! Plus I'm having business cards and stamps and such made as we speak, so I'm officially committed haha :)
@Devon Henderson I see, well this one is definitely my fave out of all of them (your Illustrator skills are more than up to par now). I didn't think the other one was too masculine, especially with that coral color you were using, but that's definitely a good reason to change it.
Really looking forward to them business cards - are you hand stamping them?
@Nayla Smith Yeah, I didn't think it was either but almost everyone I asked thought it was :( and I dropped the coral color, which I'd randomly picked on a color picker, and settled for this orange, which is a Pantone color, making my life easier, haha! I'm having two stamps made that I'll combine for my business cards, the logo and the card edges in a bronzy orange very close to the Pantone color and a black ink for type on cream Speckletone paper, which I think will turn out nicely :)
Very cool! I like the idea and execution. My only thought is looking at it straight on, and smaller like your profile icon, it almost resembles an L. Looks great though
After a bit of retrospective thought, I have decided to go back to my old logo, with a bit of tweaking. I won't go into the details, but yeah. Time to order another stamp......

I really like the feminity of this, and that orange is very unique. Love how it's still quite soft.
But maybe wait until you've totally committed to a logo to start rebranding yourself everywhere? Just my 2 cents!

Circles are nice and feminine, boxy shapes are stronger and masculine, despite that nice swash in your last logo. This is nice.
