Working on a new side project. The name plays off the name of my other blog, Unrequired Reading, except, this blog is all about music. I'll let you connect the dots.

Anyway, I'm really excited to get this launched. It's all part of my crazy effort to write more.

P.S. Yes, that's the same blue color used on the cover of Weezer's Blue Album.

I love the clean cut look and balance of the "Review..." heading with the content below. Would love to see more from the actual reviews section to give better feedback.

The colors seem fine, but if I'm imagining the site right, the big heading on the top of this screenshot is at the top of the site as well—perhaps in the way of the content too much?

What kind of reviews will these be by the way? And what's with Ryan's mom :)?

Mark, thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it.

The big heading is at the top of the site. I wanted to make it seem like an old Swiss style poster, but you're right, it's definitely too much in the way of the content. This is my first go at the design, so there's a lot of room for change. I may end up going with another design style. Still not sure.

The content will mostly be album reviews, and just thoughts on music in general. Not that I think anyone is really going to care what I have to say, but I think it'll be a good way for me to write more.

Also, no idea why I keep including Ryan's mom as a tag. I guess I want to try and see how many times I can tag Ryan's mom. (http://instantrimshot.com/)

Cool, I think some awesome things could be done with things like album art and the unique aesthetics that come with each album. I'm a sucker for big images and type, as well as well-formed posts on music and what have you.

    Look forward to seeing more!
