Hot dang, Rob, this is awesome! Just a small suggestion – the coils on a guitar string are ever-so-slightly angled; yours are perfectly straight. This is super nit-picky, I know, but if I had designed this, I would want to include that. Again, just my humble opinion. Great work!

@Chandler Van De Water and @Wladyslaw Fedorov: Believe me, I appreciate your eye for detail. I actually did try to more accurately represent the angle of the EAD string coils, but that kind of nuance at a resolution this low just doesn’t work. At least this way the texture could be more than satisfactorily approximated. Besides, while you’re zoomed in, you might as well mention that real spruce and rosewood don’t get pixelated when you magnify them. :P
