So, I'm finally getting round to making some UI improvements to the main dialog in Typecast. This dribbble and the attached screenshot of work in progress give away quite a lot about what features we're planning to work on in the near future.

There are 3 things I am trying to achieve here:
    1. A more natural grouping and visual priority for most used features
    2. Further interaction affordance for drag, hover, click etc
    3. A more settled set of patterns for common controls

Let me know what you think about the new look, organisation and features.

that looks awesome. Number one feature request would be global setting to choose ems or px rather than resetting it for every new text type.

Thanks, Matalin. A couple of people have mentioned that idea to me so far. Just out of curiosity... where would you naturally look for such an option? Would it be in the main dialog or somewhere else?

@Matalin Hatchard ..also, is that for every new text type, or every existing+new text type?

I think every existing + new text, or an option to specify. And option would likely be per project. I find myself changing from px to ems one of the few very repetitive actions..
