there are so many things in this one that i like. the dynamic pose, the coloring, the texture, the shading, expression, and so on. especially dig the hands. very good, inspires me to draw and learn more about posing.
checked the sketch on your website, very nice as well. why did you decide to exaggerate the head in size? just a matter of taste? i'm just curious. dig both, the final piece and the sketch for itself.
@Juicefoozle thanks for the compliments! The reason that I decided to go with an enlarged head is to soften the image of a man aggressively hurling a lit stick of dynamite. I think it serves to make the image more accessible and also more interesting in juxtaposing such a serious subject with a little bit of cartoon thrown in.
