    Thanks for the kind words, guys!

    The background is a bunch of stock photos layered and tweaked: a grass layer, the bokeh from a photo I took, several scanned paper types over that with a bunch of adjustment layers. The texture I laid over the whole picture is actually something I got originally from Mr. Retro, though I've since made it transparent so I can lay it across most everything.

    You can snag it for your use here. Tweak the opacity and blending styles to your liking. I've found 20% Multiply adds a nice touch.

    I think the lens flare is the best (if that is the effect you were going for). I've always liked that effect but it has to be done correctly and you pulled it off nicely.
