   Here's the first screen for the app I'm working on with @Callum Chapman. We've had a few challenges with this so far.

   The main one being that there's about 10 icons for the task bar, so we needed to create a way to scroll these and make it obvious. (This may change - We're constantly trying new things). We also couldn't use a side nav (like Facebook) because the app was already under development.

    I would love to see the map nicely designed (color, texture, etc.) — Have you looked into OpenStreetMaps? Seems to be completely customizable... http://mapbox.com/
