I like this style but the blue webkit border drives me crazy when it doesn't fit the designed element so I just wanted to through a quick (and dirty), proposed adjustment that takes about 30 seconds to implement. Since the blue border is specific to Webkit I thought it's probably not a big deal to throw CSS3 goodies in.
The inset/inner-shadow is meant to only be seen once the input has focus. Just throwin' it out there
Ah good call, definitely will fix this asap. Just tested in FF this morning, didn't realize in Safari it would look this bad on active http://cl.ly/1xXV
