Actually looked at this with my laptop at 2/16th of brightness and noticed a faint hint. The problem is with inferior screens and inferior situations, of course.
Maybe you could do a 2-up rebound with a – somewhat more apparent – alternative?
Why do you feel you need text-shadow here? I'd really like to see those lines crisp and clear, specially the non-text bits. Hmmm… how about a very light white transparent border to everything? If that makes sense.
@yaili I feel it needs depth. Not necessarily text-shadow. I definitely agree with your comment on the ornament lines, they look best crisp. Great idea on the semi-transparent white border. Just rebounded.
