Thanks to everyone for their comments. Went with version D, added a few tweaks to the face shape while adding a bit more flair to the crown. Changed up the color scheme a little bit as well. Still not sure if I'm happy with the type though... any suggestions or do you think it fits?

Pretty happy with the way this project has turned out so far. Should have a client presentation within the next few days! See the attachment for a larger preview of the mark.

I've enjoyed watching the progression on this. The colour scheme is so much 'friendlier' than the royal blue :)

In regards to the type, I don't mind it, though it does seem a little thin in contrast to the mark.

Thanks Josh! I was wondering the same with the type. Although, I found that a lighter type style helped achieve a high-er end feel. I think I'll play around with a few more weights though before I call it final—Thanks for the tip! :)

Did you try all caps on his name and kerned out? Financial Wellness will be upper-lower cased.

Great stuff, Jared and I like the choice you made too. Great icon. I agree with @Josh Hayes as well regarding the weight of the type. I can understand your thought about the lighter face seeming more higher end but I think it just feels a touch too light now and the weight and balance between symbol and type seems a bit off. Lastly, I think the financial wellness type may be a tad too tight? You might add a little more air in there, feels vey tight. Great work!

Good to see this Jared! The new colour scheme works much better, looks excellent. As for the type, I agree with Sean about the 'financial wellness' feeling a little too tight (both letter spacing and in relation to the name above) - that jumped out at me more than the weight.
Been enjoying following the development of this one, very nicely done.
