Meagan, this was my thought as well... the more it was commented, the longer it stayed on the home page. I think a number of people learned that lessons on the second "hint" that was posted.

Nice design as well... love the texture.

Communication brings insights, even if they're not always yours. Refusing to communicate because you don't agree is just dumb. But then again, arguing on the internet...

    the halftones are dirty.
I'd never hire someone with dirty halftones, stochastic or not. Also, the colors are too perfect. Why would anyone hire someone who does such spot on work? It would be perceived as too "high art" and would probably alienate the lesser segments of the target market, reducing effectiveness to those who couldn't afford said service or product, anyway.

I love this style, I've been trying to emulate it since the shots of your slides and still can't get it perfect.

Season for dribbble etiquette messages has started for good...

Your design is pretty however it's becoming boring when people post such "work" everyday.

Looks great, Meagan! Lovely colors, texture and type as per usual. As for feedback, I might put the "by refusing to engage with Trolls, you take away their power" line above the "If you don't…" bit. Also, nit-picky but I might tighten the kerning between the "R" and "O" in "Trolls."

Only thing that bothers me is the 3rd line is the only line that is lowercase. Other than that it looks good. I dont even need your name on the page to know you did it.

Maybe Dribbble needs to adjust their algorithm. Likes should count much more than views and comments.

so trolls are who? people with different opinions? people who point out uncomfortable ideas?

or were you referring to the dozens of people who wouldn't stop posting to *my* shot? or ego maniacs who bring up nit picky problems with a design without invitation?

yes, the topic was provocative. that doesn't mean i'm a troll or that the opinion is wrong.

and judging by the private messages and emails (which outnumber the comments on that post), i'm not the only one who's frustrated with Dribbble. and the answer is not to just go away.
