This is the refresh state, pulled. Some crazy animation in here.
Made a few mods to it.

    Real pixels in the attachment.

I would wish it ejected a lollipop from the ipad every time I pulled it.

@Eric Hoffman that slider knob...strangely familiar...

Also, just in case the tone of this seems to be attacking, it's not. Please see the attached clip for tone and friendliness.

But honestly, it feels strange to have a turned metal knob and this all in the same app.

looking great, but what's with the two different styled knobs? Also seems a little bit like you're adding a design element [pull to refresh 'switch'] for the design element's sake....

@Rogie Similar to yours? Come on dude, that's not the first time I've seen this. Your royalty check is in the mail.

Turned metal is not fully baked. Still playing with the idea of both.

@Rally Interactive (via Ben Cline) Yeah I need to match the knobs.

That icon means sync to me. Am I the only one? I think refresh should have one arrow.

Concept is sound. Rainbow look is terrible.

Excellent placement too. Really easy for a thumb to reach it while you're holding the iPad with both hands.

And Jack you're right and wrong. Can be either sync or refresh.

great job, really good, but the refresh icon to agree with @Jack Bingham, would be a better one refresh arrow.

@The Skins Factory You've just proven my point. It's not sync, so it shouldn't really be an icon that could be used for both.

Love the icon, and think it works well...why not match the vibrancy and direction of the rainbow/stripes as well?

@The Skins Factory @Jack Bingham isn't syncing and refreshing essentially the same thing here, refresh = sync to server to download new content, sync = download new content, refresh the view, yada yada :p
