Here's a snippet of a new piece coming out in a book later this year about about musicians. Art Directed by @DushanMilic . I wanted to try and capture the melancholy mood of the King's last days and found out that it's hard drawing a well-known figure when a bunch of extra weight has been added. Too many fried peanut butter banana sandwiches.

Totally captured the emotion. The texture and colors are spot on.

Thanks @Shed Labs and @Adam Grason ! So you think it looks like him? I couldn't tell anymore. When he aged his face lost so much of its form and his pretty eyes became smaller. It's sometimes hard to capture someone who's face is so well known.

So good, Jacqui. Your use of color is always inspiring. P.S. My wife Melissa will love this. She's the biggest Elvis fan! =)

Thanks @Kevin Burr, it was nice to work it a more muted moody colour palette for a change. Hope your wife approves! Thanks @Darren Booth @Mitch @Dave Mott @Gregory Grigoriou so glad you guys like it. I've been painting so many children's portraits lately good to know I can still draw a grown up!

@Emir Ayouni | Growcase| Growcase I've been working on a kids book the last few months and not legally allowed to show anything...but soon! It's kept me busy too so it's nice to get back to regular work and seeing what everyone's been up to. @Shed Labs glad to know he still comes across. Thanks everyone.
