Phil, I feel that the icons and scrubber in general are too sharp (both in shape and in contrast). They lack depth. I am assuming it is on purpose tho. If so, maybe make them a little greyer?
Also, that dude on the right is ruining everything. :p
Disclaimer: I provided some negative feedback, hopefully I wont look like an asshole. I still love you Phil. Trent you're ok too :)
@Yaron - They're intentionally flat, in fact the whole site is that way by design. It's a challenge and especially with that scrubber (I can't tell you how tempted I am to add a subtle gradient and drop shadow) but I like where they're at right now and I have other sections to finish. I appreciate your negative feedback. You're not an asshole. :)
Oh It's delightful. I'm loving the low-bit business. It's a nice contrast with the subtle colors and delicate transparency on those photos. Yes, I'm dwelling on that.
@Daniel - I hear that. I felt it was more important to go with an object that was very easy to understand it's function and fit with the style of the rest of the icons.

Very nice look on this one, somewhat conservative in a good way.

@Noah - Phew. I wasn't sure at first if I was digging myself into a hole here.

I dug the diamond shaped slider in the previous version. With so many square elements, it was nice to have one rebel in the system.

Like Daniel, I think there are too many square elements. How about making the coloured square stops diamond? Just a thought...
