We are finally taking this project off the shelf and rolling up our sleeves. Everything that was done last year gets tossed out the window and we are starting from scratch. The logo is first, on the list.

Here is a monogram concept, which is actually a piece of another concept, that I am really liking right now. It's clean, simple and to the point but I feel like it is missing something.

Thoughts & comments are 100% welcomed.

This might seem random, but have you tried mirroring one of the B's?

Flipping the first B might give it a bit more personality, especially since that B stands for "back" (reverse?).

Or you could mirror the second one so that its serifs point to the right, and then try and work the serifs into the circle.

    Hope that inspires something great!

@Michal Kopanski Thanks for the comments. In an earlier scribble, I had the letter forms reflecting one another. I even started down that path when I realized that it started to look like a weird superhero emblem.

I have playing around with both concepts to see if I can find what is missing. For this version, I unified the entire crest into one vector shape. On the plus side, it produced an unforeseen shape that is kind of cool. On the down side, that shape could be anything and it does not necessarily connote music. It's starting to feel very comic book like.
