I for example wouldn't need the back/forward/refresh buttons, as I always use the keyboard shortcuts. Also I would love if the tabs, address-bar and bookmarks, was on line with each other, making the overall interface size much smaller.

I don't have time to design mine, but I would make mine similar to yours except in a couple of respects.
(1) I would give the option of keeping the back/forward/refresh buttons
(2) The url bar would take up all the space that the tabs don't, would have a minimum width of say 200 pixels and when clicked, would expand to the full width of the browser to allow you to easily edit it.
(3) The url bar would have all my bookmarks in so I could just type the first letter or two of a link and the bookmarks would pop up.
(4) Tab close buttons would only show on hover.

How would your perfect browser look like?

@Theo -> I agree with you on all accounts. My idea was for this browser to do the same.

Quite nice approach you got there mate!
I just read the "Has the address bar had its day?" article down at .Net magazine and this seems pretty cool!

How about adding incognito. By the way it's gotta be damn hard to program a web browser right?
