I've never considered myself to be that good an icon designer, but it sure is fun making 'em.
Anyway, this is the result of tonight's practice. The PSD, as always, is attached, so you can have a dig around, let me know how I could be doing things better, or you could just zoom in to 3200% and pretend I'd made some Minecraft icons. Whatever.

Love the picture frame. At a glance, my only improvement would be to desaturate & lighten up the lightbulb, maybe give it a glow for good measure.

Agree with Dan, the light bulb needs some light colors.
I think some subtle noise for the adress book could improve the realistic look.

@Dan Eden, @Ivo Mynttinen: Agree with the lightbulb. Spent ages, but couldn't get it right. About the address book, there is some noise on there, it's just super-subtle. Probably too subtle.

Nice, not such a big fan of the lightbulb, needs to be more realistic (glossy and stronger colors rather then yellow/brown)
