This is the more final version of the WIP I recently posted. This is a personal project, that I am working on. Its a website dedicated to sharing coffee and learning about it. Btw, I LOVE coffee :)
I would love to hear what everyone thinks. Feedback is welcome. This is a revamp of the previous logo seen on the working page http://coffeeexperiences.com
Same Logo but with a few tweaks. The outside letters are closer, re-balanced the alignments on both sides, I re-kerned the tagline and made the "FF" feel more readable and elegant.
I have been shown that a few times since I posted this on Dribbble and Forrst and I wish I knew what to do because I seriously had not seen that logo until I had finished version 3 (current version) of this logo. And I don't want step on another designer but I'm not sure what to change to make it less similar as I spent a lot of time and months iterating and creating his design. Any advice?
Yeah, not quite sure? Great minds think alike right ;) Again I like the style of this a lot, but you're just inevitably going to have trouble with the conceptual overlap. Stuff like this just happens sometimes... Maybe drop Jan a message and see what he thinks?

Hey Shawn, just ran across this. Dig the style, but it's also a really similar conceptual execution to Jan's > Coffee design...
