Part of a redesign I'm working on. Still not complete, needs to be polished a little bit more. Crazy how posting a shot simply opens your eyes and makes you see all the flaws in your design. At least for me.
Icons for "status", "photo" and "links" are property of Facebook and are used as placeholder for now.
The style of this shot comes off as inconsistent to me. It particularly puts me off that the Facebook elements are there. Don't get me wrong, I understand they are placeholders. But I'd rather see the design with those areas left empty; right now they stand out and are too much of a distraction, if you ask me.
I do dig the top bar and you have something good going on with the sidebar, but I am not sure about the blue.

I think there's a problem with vertical-alignment between nav buttons and the content, no ?
