I've been programming for Windows for close to 20 years and here is my professional opinion of what Windows 8 will actually be like when released.
Pieces won't fit, straight lines will curve, some corners will inexplicably end up rounded and it will, as correctly depicted by the original logo, all be tilted. We would also probably see an occasional gradient here and there too, but I omitted them so not to ruin the logo.
So, yeah, it should really be another marvel of software engineering from Microsoft. Can't wait.
