I'm currently both a Photoshop and Typography noob so I decided to stop making excuses and start stabbing at that today. Please, please if you can give me some critique and tell me what you honestly think. If you do it for me, I'll do it for you.

Keep trying! YOU CAN DO IT :D
Now the critique I would have is that the background would should be a bit brighter and less orange then it is so that the "poster" stands out a bit more, and I would say that the drop shadow on "FAILURE" is a little weird and maybe a bit too harsh.
Finally, I would try changing the font for "at something" to something other than a sans-serif to keep it consistent with the other fonts.
Just my two cents bro, good work and keep it up!
