   Rather than using the photo pasted on the icon, was there an iconic symbol or an abstract concept from his life ( Like the glasses for Steve ) that could have better represented him ?

   @Prathyush Beyond his ridiculous ponytail and beard, there's no real way of representing Ibra any better than a photo.

   I explored using a Koi fish from a tattoo on his back, but it was too abstract for this app. It is after all his biography.    I think if you ditched the metallic look on this icon, and made it feel more book like, the photo could work here. It would also draw an even stronger connection to the physical book.
