Queen of Hearts Illustration Series

Helllo, Dribbble! Great to meet you! this is one of a series of fantasy illustrations for Colleen Oakes for her young adult novel trilogy titled Queen of Hearts, featuring characters and scenes from the books. This illustration portrays the young princess Dinah in with a Spade (card soldier) companion as they enter an enticingly beautiful yet dangerous forest grove of giant bioluminescent mushrooms. Each piece from this series was drawn and painted in Adobe Photoshop on a wacom cintiq.
