@Mads Ejsing - Thanks for the feedback! The scan lines are an effort to break this popover away from the table below it. The table is pretty flat in terms of color and depth so I felt the popover could benefit from the contrast. In terms of the checkboxes I've always kept the system ones as I felt it jarred the user to have different UI controls then what they are normally used to on other sites. Will have to consider some custom ones in web kit browsers.

I agree with Andrew on the too tall line height. Also, I don't like the scanlines too much; I wouldn't call them subtle.
Why are you using standard check boxes and radio buttons? I think a custom set could knock this design up quite a bit.
Top bar is really cool.
