Looks great! I don't think the arrow is huge, in fact it looks perfectly in proportion to me. I do agree with @Jonno about the size of the artist info, though.

I think the icons should be at the top, above the artwork, giving the track information more space so it doesn't need to be so small?

I like this idea, but I feel like the buttons are a tad large, since this is a Mac and not a touch-screen I don't see the point in large buttons. Looks great though.
