SeoSnooper is an online-based wip tool that will let you manage and easily adjust your seo. This service is thought to be very easy-to-use, accessible, intuitive and ergonomic. The client wanted the logo to relflect that.
One of the concept I sent him used "Reklame Script regular Demo" as a font. He loved it in terms of balance, readibility and association with the logogram (cf project) , giving his tool a real user-friendly atmosphere. I liked it too but felt some enhancement needed to be applied to that already good-looking font ^^
Keeping in mind that my client would stick closely to his first opinion, I worked on each letter individually, using alternatively a good old piece of paper and the pen key.
Most modifications were applied using basic shapes and this is the result I ended up with.
If you have any critiques or ideas on how to improve it, feel free to share them :)
It's a nice start Franck! I would play with the kerning a bit.
I am actually not a big fan of the customized font on the bottom, as it makes the letters seem too bottom heavy, specifically the O and P. If you explore various kerning options with the non-customized typeface, that may give you the look you're going for, rather than customizing the typeface.
Kerning is one tough exercise but I think I'm getting close with this one. Original font was I think too thick and streched up, it did not combine perfectly with the logogram (which you can check in my previous shots). I worked really closely with the client when reworking each letter. It allowed him to feel involved in the process of creating his own brand.
He's now feeling confortable with the ending result (bottom), would you have any suggestions on how to improve its kerning?

I'd work on the 'seo' 'sno' and 'er'. Those look a little too close together.
