    Here's a full shot of the recipe app I've been working on. Unfortunately, it's not to the client's taste. But, there's a plan to hopefully use it in the near future for a personal project. (larger shot attached)

    The client is wrong here! This has a great style and stands out from the recipe app pack! The only thing I would change is the torn paper at the bottom. It detracts from the elegance.

    @Jason thanks for the input. The torn paper was definitely an element I wasn't quite sold on, so when the time comes to dust this off, I'll experiment with some different ideas :)

    Just a thought mate try using a black wooded texture background on the left hand side navigation block. I just feel the navigation is not getting much visual attraction compared to awesome right hand side block.......

    It going great apart from that.
