   Nice first shot, the texture really works here.

   I might get rid of the drop shadow (which it seems you already have) and put some of that awesome texture on the M to make the entire thing cohesive.

   I like the colors as well. I can't help thinking the M needs to move up just a tiny tiny bit. It may be centered but it doesn't feel centered.
