I agree, it's looking great but the original sketch has a great sense of clarity and airiness. This version just seems a bit "heavy" and not as detailed as the first sketch.
Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately it can't stay a pencil sketch. For context this will be screenprinted in metallic gold ink on the cover of book. In its application it needed to be bolder to stand out as the focal point of the poster. Was totally lost as an outline.
This looks great. I feel like it's hard to replicate the metallic-y feel you get from a screen printed poster on a computer monitor. The detailing in this is amazing though. Especially love the Y's shape.

Looks brill. Although I like the lightness of the original scamp. The light greys on white give it a more traditional appearance. Good work.
