Looks great, especially the lighting. One thing I would try is a larger dial on the door without the handle. It might look a little simpler which is good for the small size of an iPhone icon.
This looks fantastic. Agree with @Louis Harboe
slick! great job!
This thing ended coming out sick
Nice shot ! How do you create the gradients in the door's corners ?
appreciate the comments and critique everyone :)
@Destermes: that's done with a gradient map, a bevel, and a bit of brushing
Amazing sir ! no problems for me
Looks so Sweet dude! The metal seems quite shiny, so perhaps you could ad some red/purple reflections from the picture. I don't know, just a thought :)
It's gorgeous. The depth on the door is truly inspiring. Just flawless in every detail. The handle, however is bugging me. The bottom bend makes it appear as if it's a straight pipe with two 90 degree bends (like a towel rack), but the top bend gives the illusion that it's got an extra bend pulling it back towards the dial. It's "Escher-like". Minor but I'm drawn to it now.
Kevin, try these. Here a version I "fixed": http://cl.ly/E83k and the psd file in case you wanted to see exactly what I did: http://cl.ly/E7WV
@Kevin Allen great shot! ++
The icon is perfect, but the reflections of the door seem unreal. Try to improve them.
