Fighter Motivation Logo

I was commissioned by a client in Canada to create a range of typographic posters based on quotes that were supplied. The range of posters went by name of 'Fighter Motivation'

Here's the logo I created for it. I was specifically going for that old school 80's fighter video game type of look. Street Fighter / Early Tekken feel.

I was experimenting with layering type manually, as opposed to using a layered font.

I curved the type in this way to represent a belt being tightened around your waist.
