Add noise without rasterizing or pattern:
I have been using the noise features on layer styles a lot lately, but this is a really nifty trick. I was looking for such a technique subconsciously I think, I have been applying clipping masks for this effect, but well they suck when you use opaque layers styles.
Good one! Keep them coming, really digging this.
Really happy about this one... I'm always adding some sort of texture, now I can do it without duplicating my work/rasterizing. :)
You can't choose between gaussian or uniform, though.
