Took all of your feedback into consideration. Really made all the difference removing the gradients from the text-fields. Less is more, right!

Looks wonderful, but from an interaction standpoint, what happens when someone clicks on the Dribbble and Twitter icons? Are they just links? Does a similar popover come up with recent tweets or shots?

It's funny, I didn't really design this for actual use, it was more the result of playing with a few different styles and what-not. As for interaction, it could go either way in terms of leaving as links for the others, or displaying their own little modal-popups on click/hover — for dribble, using the API to show my latest shot, and twitter, show my last three tweets or something thereabouts, but then, really... it's a little (well, a lot) over the top.

All in all, I didn't expect this to go anywhere, let alone make front page. Just glad to see people like random little ideas that formulate in my head :)

Agree with you about the gradients in the text-fields - looking much better now.

Only comment would be the Mail & Twitter buttons seem to be coming out of the page, while Dribble seems to be going in. The highlight's not showing through on the pink perhaps?

The inputs are too bright for me. Liked the previous version more.

Very slick! Never thought to use that crosshatch pattern, but you use it subtly enough that it gives just the right amount of texture and contrast against the inputs.
