Here's a little shot of a recipe app I'm working on which has some amazing recipes by an Italian chef. Can't share much on this, but it's going to be a fun project to work on as a fellow foodie.

I recommend making the paper look slightly less messy. I don't mind a little tear, especially if it applies to this context, but three really jagged pages looks a little silly to me.
I would rather have a neat notebook sitting on my desk at home, then a ripped-up one. Same goes for the iPad.
Just my two cents!
Thanks @Louis Harboe, I do agree with it being too messy and will be exploring this further, appreciate your input.
Great Details Zane.
Thanks @Kartik :)
I want to eat now! It has a nice vibe to it.
Thanks @Isaac, glad it makes you hungry :P
So nice! Love the detail!
Thanks @Aman L. Anderson, too kind!
This looks ultra hot, and yes the client is very silly for not digging it but I would expect to see a menu name or title before pressing on a recipe. Also agree with the comments about toning down the messiness of the paper a touch too.
