Goal here was to create a realistic "light bulb" type of object. It's harder than you'd think.
Even with blurry reflections on the floor, I was able to play with the settings so that the most complex frames took a minute or less to render. (No global illumination, soft shadows, low reflection accuracy.)

How'd you get them to all lose luminance at precisely the same time? I smell shenanigans.
