Scaled down version (no adjustments made, original size attached). Just practicing skills for an icon. We probably won't go with this leather one but make a card board box instead to make it looks more approachable.
Exactly! Seeing so much of the inside while still keeping the same proportions between the corners on the front seems a bit odd. I guess you've been staring at it for too long without breaks, heh? ;-)
Love how realistic the inside looks! The shadows there are great!
Its looking ortographic for me, and I don't know if that's what u were after, and its giving me the impression that the top is too big for that box. Also, the texture on the right side is horizontal, I'd have it go along the perspective of that side.
These are the only concerns I see. I really like the texture though :P
Heya, @Yummygum! I think its better, but it's perspective is still ortographic imo. Check this link of a quick sketch i made (http://cl.ly/3j3l3B2j40111X0n2R12). Ur box is looking more like 3, but its lacking in depth. 1 and 2 have a more natural look, with 1 being my favorite. Try to find a box, put it on a table and look at the lines it makes, the size of every outline, border. Maybe take a picture and design on top of it, and u'll see what i mean. There are many ways to force different perspectives for different purpposes. I hope you find this useful. Btw, I have your sweeticons2 for some time now and they're freaking pro! =D keep on rockin'!
PS: Food for thought: http://bit.ly/xR5xoB
@Rodrigo Grundig I see what you're saying, but that would mean no icon with this perspective could have a straight line bottom. Personally I don't mind it being not a 100% realistic, since it's an icon and it's allowed to be a little illustrative/cartoony if you know what I mean. THanks for the help and the example sketch!

The perspective seems a bit off to me, but the textures and shadowing looks great!

Hmm yeah now you mention it. The top right diagonal line should be more flat than the bottom right diagonal line. Thanks @Joel Helin !

I know sometimes you work for so long your own object hypnotizes you and you can't tell wether it looks good or a bit off.
