Another chapter opener illustration from our book. This one is for the chapter on "Making a Budget". Cue Wu-Tang.

I started on this one with a thumbnail of an idea and the aim of just finishing it without too much time spent and stress exerted. Just put pen to paper and critique it later. Every time I take this approach I love the results so much more than when I overthink things mid illustration. Just finish it and sleep on it is my new life motto. See full illustration attached.
