This is the detail page for a restaurant. Still working on the bottom portion. Any opinions on the phone/map buttons? The 502 is the area code.

Also, using http://www.mobilefontfonts.com/. Which is fun. Only issue so far is the young typefaces don't have support for some of the foreign characters. Thai for example.

Probably should have just left off "MON Closed." Kind of distracting. Eh...

Also, the empty button in the upper right will have a star (favoriting).

Digging the typography. Have been looking forward to trying out Mobile FontFonts. After going through licensing with H&FJ for font usage and licensing, I'm ready for a simple solution.

What struck me initially about the app design is the color palette. Thinking about dining my mind goes more immediately to neutral and earth tones. Not sure if you played around with the palette or where it came from but maybe something to think about.

Gotta say that I love what you did with the area code :)

@Todd Budnikas Good point about the palette. We came at from a different angle, going with the City of Louisvile colors – blue and yellow. If it moves to other cities we tentatively plan to change the colors in the app to match that city's. That would be the main differentiator.

But again you do bring up a good point, blue is not a color you normally associate with a dining experience. I'm going to bring this up with Michelle and see what she thinks.

Glad you like the area code!

I'm wondering if there is a way to consolidate "Currently open" and "Closes in 4 hours" to simplify the UI.

Maybe you could do away with "Currently open" and just have one section of text associated with the clock. Changing the verbiage to something like "Open X more hours".

Just a thought, it's looking, nice!

Hey Scott, thanks for the feedback, we did consolidate the two, but went with just the "currently open" message. We made it part of the address block too. So it's less decorative and more informative.
