I agree with Jason. Left it is.

I think It is because of the black octagon, adds more volume to the work. Makes it more heavy looking and more apparent.

If the type is more important, i'd say go for the L. The black makes the read easier/faster. Though the shape stands out more to me on the R. So this doesn't help right?
