the actual design does not have the extension of the A, it being an extension for a illustration I had worked on previously, if thats of some concern. Am I on the cusp of lines being too close?

I think this has potential to use. You could make the M wider, and then try to fit A and S under it or sth. Anyways, I would see the same distances between the lines, it would be a lot cooler then IMO :) GL!
