    So gracious of TOP FLIGHT AVIATION in China to send me this medallion, given to students who aced the flight exam and got their pilot's licence. I wear it on my bomber jacket now :)

    @Norman Chan I was told it translates to 'tyflong' -- meaning 'on top of the mountaain/world' -- can you clarify, I am guessing you were able to read the translation.

    @Richard Baird ha, yes, the private jet...someday ;)

    @Joe Prince You are right, it does feel great. On of the sheer joys of working internationally, most times via the internet, is just that. Feels even better seeing it on a Boeing 777!

    @Jan Zabransky Thank you

    @Fabian Marchinko yes.. i'm always dreaming

    TYFLONG? On top of the world? hmmm.....
    The 3 characters pronounces in Mandarin as: Wor Hwei Fey.
    In its literal sense, it means 'I will fly.' or 'I can fly'.
    And I guess if you can fly, you can pretty much go to the top of wherever you bloody want ; )
    Hope that helps my friend.

    @Norman Chan I looked back at the reference files and see that the word was 'feiyuan'

    'Fei Yuan' should mean the 2 chinese characters 飞远 meaning 'Fly' and 'Far' respectively. But that is not a complete sentence in chinese terms.
    The 3 chinese characters that you have on the badge literally means character for character, 我: Me (or I), 会: Can (or will), 飞: Fly.
