    Working on the identity for a new personal project of mine. The typeface is Ivory with the ligatures inspired by Mrs. Eaves.

    I love conjoined O's, but I don't think an O and a G work well combined as much. I think the reason conjoined O's work so well is that they're symmetrical, any other letters that are combined tend to take on the form of a monogram. Considering 'blog' is a word and not a set of initials (and therefore not a monogram), I think it would be better to have the O and G separated.

    Thanks for the feedback Mitch. I'm afraid that without the OG ligature creates a balance with the OO as it makes both words the same length almost and the same 'weight.' But I'll try that and see how it looks.

    I agree with Mitch in that the O and G are hard to read, where the double "O" is pleasing, unique, and elegant. Love the overall concept, even if you decide to leave the O and G...very classy. Great work.
