I customized the Google Quick Search Box (which I use solely as an application launcher). I think I spend enough time staring at their childish logo.

All you have to do is right-click on Google Quick Search Box, choose Show Package Contents and replace Contents/Resources/ColorLargeGoogle.png with your own artwork.
