My first attempt at cinemagraph - http://blog.ismaelburciaga.com/2012/02/03/chelsie-birks-by-ismael-burciaga/

It's a bit choppy but i will get better.

Now I have yet to try this as well, but seeing I'm also planning to do so... I think I might be able to help with the choppy jump at the end, reverse the animate give once you reach the end. So if you have 5 slides: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 end it 4, 3, 2 - Full animation would be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4, 3, 2 (then starts at 1 again when looped) Should help with the jump from finish to start again.

Hope that makes sense and/or helps with the choppy part you were talking about.

Let me know if it works! But definitely nice first attempt! Cheers!

If there's something I'd say you should work on, is, like Andy said, make it go 1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2 to make it an endless loop. But the photo looks great otherwise!
This page has, in my opinion, the best gifs of this kind. Maybe you can learn a thing or two from there :)

Is it weird that I see a face in her left knee? It's freaking me out.
