@Judson: I've loved Knockout since it was first released, but it's seen so much use lately (by folks I know/love/admire) that I can't bring myself to use it at the moment.
Univers, on the other hand, is one of the hidden classic gems, much like Trade Gothic. Plus it's a massive family.

Worth noting for those who care about such things:
These were shot with a Canon 5D MkII, at 100ISO, using a Canon 100mm ƒ/2.8 macro lens set to ƒ/5.6, all on a tripod set to the same height for each shot (so the scale of each texture is the same across the set).
I'm working on a few more concrete sets, and at least one natural stone set (vs. manmade). Paper sets are also planned soon.

I had a CD who, when critiquing every project, would say, "you should switch this to Univers… ". Now I can't stand it. This is lovely and perhaps Univers and I should try to work things out.

@Kevin: I've always liked Univers, but have never been happy when trying to use it in my own work. A few weeks ago, it just started to feel right.
