    Veggie Meals iPad app (www.VeggieMealsApp.com) has an easy to reach settings button in the header, which presents three toggles in a pop-over. It can toggle measurements (metric/US), temperature & background music. Tapping the inactive part instantly pushes it in, along with a sound effect. Almost like you're using a kitchen appliance.

    Awesome !
    Maybe it could have a 1px vertical bar in the middle of the toggle buttons. Don't know if you've tried it yet, but I believe it could look good.

    @Christophe Tauziet I haven't tried it, I'm afraid it would nt work so well with the temperature or since it has te whole word "metric" in it.

    @jonathan olsen, @Mladen Zivanovic I wouldn't want to overdo the effect. I think it's clear when you see it on the device.
