@♦ Oykun Yilmaz I think that overall it looks quite nice, though I'd use the same kind of embossing/style on a that menu arrow button for "active state", as you've used on the message counter.
Also, I'd swap positions between the message icon and the message counter. It just feels unnatural the way it's displayed at the moment.
Other than these two things -- I really like the green theme! :)
I love it agree with Matthew about the message counter being moved and making the drop arrow match. The layout is so on point. Not sure about the Grey tho.. However I know you gonna kill it. I really wanna see the finished version. Is this still part of that secret project?
I like how you incorporated the icons into the drop down to give a quick visual reference. This might not play out as well with larger menus, but think it's really nice here.
@Matthew Morek thanks! the arrow button has gradient in off case. this is just active state. ps wanted to keep the message icon aligned right since that block is right ailgned in header, and I didnt want message icon to keep moving left-right when notification comes. easier to navigate when it is consistent at a place.
Really nice. I'd agree with the feedback about the message counter. I understand your reasoning but I'm sure there's a solution out there that means you can have the icon not move around while still displaying the count to the right of it...for instance have a very subtle counter even when the count is 0, and then bring it to life when you have more than 0.
Another very minor point - I'd suggest making the corner radius tighter on inner panels and buttons so there's a consistent gap around the edge.
Looks good! The colour pallet particularly drew me to this shot, i love it... One thing bugs me though. The pixel bevel on the dropdown menu looks a little too harsh to me. Something about the inner black border isn't right. Looks out of place compared to the other bevels. Also agree with @Olly Dobson about the corners. Overall great work though!!!
