Playing around with some concepts for hard hitting call-to-action boxes on the cherished vehicles project, I thought I'd try using the inverted rounded corner effect to reflect the vintage feel of the products.
It would be nice if the "NOW" appeared/disappeared depending on whether the current time was within the office hours below, rather than having the asterisk.
I like the idea of the retro-style box - could maybe do with a bit of depth but would need to see how it looks compared to other elements on the page.
A little pet annoyance of mine is superscript in body text without repeating it in the associated reference - i.e. I'd prefer *Mon-Fri... But that's just me... ;)
Only comment would be that there are really two calls to action here.
Is the main objective to get people to call or fill the form out? Be interested to know what the clickable area on this box would be, eg. where then do I click to get my online quote?
