Happy Pongal (தைப்பொங்கல்)

Hi Guyz,

Pongal is a thanks giving to Sun God for Harvest. It is a Harvest festival. Where we celebrate this function for 3 days.

First Day, is celebrated as Suriya Pongal. Here they praise the sun as a god.

Maattu Pongal is celebrated in the second day. This mostly celebrated by the farmers, who have the cattle.
This is praising the animals, which is used in agriculture.

Kaanum Pongal, where on this day many families hold reunions on this day.The word kaanum in this context means "to visit."
