Wow that "magnifying glass" really confused me, I kept trying to figure out how the magnified part fit in under the loop, only to realize it's actually a zoom of the top left part.
I really love the glass in the sidebar (like, a lot), but I feel it's a bit underwhelming/repetitive when used for the header too. Great work nonetheless!
I allready coded this up, and did it with PNG's, Im sure you could get a simillar effect with CSS3... The project I'm working on has to be IE7 compatible, so I'm playing it safe :)

That frosted glass, is it possible in css3 or is it going to have to be an image?
